How did YOU celebrate National Train Day?

Trains have been a really big deal at our house ever since Cameron discovered Thomas and Friends back when he was barely old enough to talk. So last Saturday in honor of National Train Day we drove to Sturtevant (anyone even know where that is??) to see some train "stuff." Needless to say the kids had a great time. Wish Keith could have been there, but he had to work. On Saturday. Again.

Some pictures of our excursion...

Happy National Train Day! I did buy two train books at the library sale yesterday. Does that count?

Did they have a lot to do there? We are die hard train lovers, so perhaps a drive is in our future

i can't believe how big kate is! and i'm laughing at your dress up date. that is weird. especially weird for a first date. good thing you ended up with keith (even though he has to work saturdays). He doesn't seem like one to dress in drag often :) I will try calling you in the next few days...so sit by your phone!

that's pretty cool that you actually take roadtrips with 3 kids and no hubby. I just don't really think about it.

Kate looks like she loves it as much as the boys do.
